my rates for hire are as illustrated below (in addition to any materials & expenses and excluding VAT.)
post-processing after a shoot is also almost always necessary: it is charged at the rate shown below. i find that it works best if I first triage the shots, the client then triages them futher and I subsequently post-process the remainder. this ensures that only the required set of images are post-processed and saves the client time and money.
the amount of post-processing necessary depends on whether the client requires simple colour and level correction or something more in-depth (correcting verticals, etc.)
